The Depot was removed in 1970 to make way for the Union Plaza Hotel. 'This light standard was placed at the entrance to the Las Vegas Union Pacific Railroad Station in 1937. The Las Vegas Greyhound bus depot at the Plaza closed in 2021. Downtown Las Vegas Structures Plaza Hotel and Casino The Las Vegas train station connected to the Plaza opened in 1971 and closed in 1997.
